In 2024, IPObel answered 1,587 individual questions which were more or less proportionally divided between email and telephone.

These are the figures divided by intellectual property rights:

• 1,001 questions relating to patents;
• 268 questions relating to trademarks and designs;
• 237 questions relating to copyright;
• 81 more general questions, mainly about the i-DEPOT.

Regardless of the communication channel used, the majority of those questions concerned patents.

The overall number of intellectual property-related questions handled by the FPS Economy amounts to 1,966 (including individual questions directly dealt with by the FPS Economy's Contact Center).

IPObel also organized 13 consultation days on intellectual property in Belgium to increase its awareness raising activities.
